This product is of transparent, free running or pale yellow oily liquid of aroma odor. The boiling point is 282oC/760mm Hg. It’s made by the esterification of Phthalicanhydride and carbinol.

1.DMP is Colorless, transparent oily liquid

2.DMP is soluble with various cellulosic resins, rubbers, ethylenic resins and has good film-forming, adhesion and water-proofing properties.

3.DMP is extensively used as solvent for producing methyl-ethyl ketone peroxide, fluro-containing anticorrosive coatings.

4.DMP is plasticizer for resins of cellulose acetate, ingredient of mosquito-expellant, intermediate for organic synthesis etc.
